Support Kinyan

Every other cause depends on this one.

Whatever you care about in Jewish life — Torah scholarship, mental health, the next generation’s commitment — it runs through a classroom first. A child’s years with a master teacher pay dividends for decades; a child’s years without one carry costs we all eventually share. Kinyan is the first organization in our community to define master teaching, identify it in live classrooms, and build the blueprint for developing more of it. Your gift doesn’t support one school. It raises the standard for all of them.

Over time, Kinyan aims to do for teaching what board certification did for medicine — to make mastery visible, so that a community can rally behind the teachers who achieve it and invest in keeping them in the classroom.

Why it matters

Kinyan exists because children experience school through teachers. When the teacher is masterful, a child can feel seen, safe, challenged, and capable. When the teacher is not, the cost follows that child for years. Our community needs a serious way to identify mastery, celebrate it, and train toward it — for the sake of the children, for Klal Yisroel.

Kinyan is operated by Kinyan Academy Corp, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Your gift funds the work on this page — audits, coaching, and recognition — and we treat donor information with the same care we promise schools: it is never sold, rented, or traded. For major gifts and named sponsorships, write to info@kinyan.org.
