For Schools

Your best teacher deserves to be recognized. Your school deserves the credit.

And bringing Kinyan in means more than recognition. Your finest teacher is honored publicly; your school receives constructive, expert feedback from every observation; and every teacher gains a clear, dignified picture of what the top of the craft looks like — and a path toward it. All for the sake of the children.

Why participate

Every principal knows who their finest teachers are. What schools have lacked is a credible, independent way to say so. A Kinyan Master Teacher on your faculty is third-party validation of the thing parents care about most — and a message to your entire staff that excellence in the classroom is seen, measured, and honored.

  • For your families

Independent confirmation of teaching quality, against a published standard.

  • For your faculty

A culture where the craft of teaching has a ceiling worth reaching for — and constructive, expert feedback from every observation.

  • For your school

A place alongside the schools of the inaugural cohort, publicly associated with the Kinyan Standard.

What to expect

Participation is simple and respectful. You nominate; we schedule observations at your convenience; your teacher teaches a normal day; findings come back to you constructively. Only recognition is public. There is no cost to the school for nomination and observation.

No results are published, and no report lands where it shouldn’t: a teacher who does not yet meet the standard receives private, constructive feedback — and an invitation to be observed again.

What your teachers gain

Recognition is half the offer. The other half is growth — the Master Teacher Initiative, Kinyan’s development arm, turns every observation into something your faculty can build on.

  • Observation-based feedback

Every Kinyan classroom observation produces specific, practical findings — which questioning strategies to add, where participation can deepen, how strong rapport can be converted into stronger learning. Schools receive this feedback as a developmental roadmap, not a verdict.

  • Coaching toward the Standard

Teachers with the foundations of mastery — the rapport, the command, the passion — are guided in the specific crafts that complete the picture: engagement strategies, assessment variety, and student-driven learning.

  • A profession with a ladder

The Five Standards give every teacher in our schools something the profession has lacked: a clear, dignified picture of what the top of the craft looks like — and a path toward it.

Our promise

The Audit exists to find excellence, not to file failure.

Bring Kinyan to Your School

It begins with a single nomination — the first step of bringing Kinyan in.

  • Celebrate your best

Your finest teacher is honored publicly, by name, against a written standard.

  • Grow every teacher

Every observation returns constructive, expert feedback — a developmental roadmap, not a verdict.

  • For the sake of the children

Because, after parents, the teacher at the front of the room is the most important in-school influence on whether a child flourishes.

What happens when you nominate

  1. Tell us the teacher

The short form below takes a few minutes — and “why this teacher” is optional.

  2. We schedule a conversation

The Kinyan team responds within five business days, and observations are scheduled at your convenience.

  3. Observation happens respectfully

Your teacher teaches a normal day — in their own room, with their own students.

  4. Findings stay private

Feedback comes back to you constructively. Only recognition is public.

Prefer a conversation first? Write to info@kinyan.org or use our contact page — we would be glad to talk it through before any form is filled out.
